We Are All A Bunch Of “Unlikely Missionaries!”

Recently we were inspired to understand our role as missionaries. The Lord has done something incredible in our lives, now we must share it! Have you ever had a good scar story? Well, the reason it is so good is because it was something terrible enough to stick out in your mind, left a mark; however you are still alive to talk about it. Jesus often saved, healed, and restored individuals and asked them to go and tell someone about what happened to them. What was there life like before? What happened to them after they met Jesus? Each time we share what he has done for us – no matter what it may be – we are sharing His love.

“‘Not called!’ did you say?
‘Not heard the call,’ I think you should say.
Put your ear down to the Bible, and hear Him bid you go and pull sinners out of the fire of sin. Put your ear down to the burdened, agonized heart of humanity, and listen to its pitiful wail for help. Go stand by the gates of hell, and hear the damned entreat you to go to their father’s house and bid their brothers and sisters and servants and masters not to come there. Then look Christ in the face — whose mercy you have professed to obey — and tell Him whether you will join heart and soul and body and circumstances in the march to publish His mercy to the world.
— William Booth, founder of the Salvation Army
