Events

There are many opportunities here to get involved in our events and in our community.

We collaborate with several of the surrounding churches in the Souhegan Valley because we believe that when we work in unity with one another, we can better serve our community. This unity also provides a powerful witness for Christ.

Cancelled due to Covid-19

The 3rd Friday of every month we host a movie night in our sanctuary. The screening is usually a family friendly movie with a faith theme. We offer snacks and refreshments as well.

Every Good Friday, weather permitting, we walk from the County Stores parking lot to our building at 273 Elm Street. We carry a symbolic cross, representing the walk that Jesus did before his crucifixion. We stop for a time of worship and prayer at the Milford Oval. This is a time of prayer and reflection on what Jesus did for us so long ago.

This year we are doing this event a little different by holding an online prayer meeting where we will pray for our city, our community, and our nation. We sing songs and intercede for our nation. We join with local pastors and churches and use this time to come together to strengthen our love for Christ on a national level.

In July, our youth and young adults group takes a trip to Gloucester, Mass. to camp for a weekend. Saturday we set out on a 4.5 mile kayak trip landing in Stage Fort State Park where we have a cookout and play volleyball. Sunday we have a small service around the campfire after breakfast, pack up, then head back home.

Our church partners with other local churches and organizations to pull together this annual Family Fun Day. We celebrate families at Keyes Memorial Field in Milford and provide a variety of activities for the day. We serve lunch, have live music, a dunk tank, bouncy houses, face painting, a slip-n-slide, and a 3-on-3 basketball tournament through MSBL! This event is fun for all ages!

In Summer 2021, our Young Adults Group is planning a missions trip to Haiti. We are going with the organization, Mission E4, and they have been doing group missions trips to Haiti since 2005. "Teams work hands-on in our schools, orphanages, and medical clinics where we provide food, clothing, medical aid, and free education while sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ."

Come with your family and join with your friends and neighbors this Christmas Eve to re-capture the spirit and tradition of Christmas. Come and celebrate the season in an open air carol service on the historic Milford Oval. Complimentary hot drinks and refreshments will be served for both young and old to help fend off the New England weather!
